On par - Caroline Bay Mini Golf
Just when you thought the grass was always greener, the Caroline Bay Mini Golf Association have proved the old saying wrong. The recent refurbishment of the mini golf course in Caroline Bay was originally destined to have the standard artificial grass affixed to the bare concrete shaping of the mini golf holes, until Resene Non-Skid Deck & Path was discovered. The plans to replace old artificial grass with new were quickly replaced by coats of Resene Non-Skid Deck & Path tinted to Resene Petanque (green), applied by volunteers at half the price of the original grass surfacing.
The Resene Non-Skid Deck and Path surface has proved a winner among players, being non slip, durable, easy to clean off leaves and debris and with a little more bounce than the artificial grass traditionally used on mini golf courses. And when the coating starts to get dirty, a quick scrub with diluted Resene Paint Prep and Housewash and the golf holes look fresh again.
With the mini golf course protected with a durable finish that will go the distance, local mini golf enthusiasts can get on with the business of playing their favourite game and chasing that elusive hole in one.
