Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 95

Difficulty level: Easy

You will need: Leaves, Paintbrush, Piece of cardboard, Resene Art Action Quick Dry, Resene Art Action Light Green and Resene Art Action Cool Yellow

Top tip: Larger leaves work better than very small leaves and be careful not to use leaves that are sharp or spiky!

Here's another idea: This circle print was made with Resene Art Action Black and Resene Art Action Warm Red and the circles were created with a Resene Art Action paint lid.

Step one
Apply one coat of Resene Quick Dry to the piece of cardboard and allow two hours to dry.

Step two
Apply one coat of Resene Art Action Cool Yellow to the cardboard and allow to dry.

Step three
Apply one coat of Resene Art Action Light Green to one side of the leaf, as shown.

Step four
Immediately press the leaf onto the card, painted side down, and then carefully lift it off to reveal a leaf shape. Repeat this with other leaves and allow paint to dry. Leaf-tastic!
