The Pow family wanted to create a room for their son that was bright, fun, educational and practical but most of all a room he would love playing in. The walls have been painted Resene Parchment to continue the flow from the rest of the house. The feature wall is from Resene - a Komar Photomurals Scenics World Map. They have a lot of fun talking about and exploring the world.

The desk with pinboard, toy storage and wardrobe has also been painted in Resene Parchment to blend into the walls but they then overpainted the unit with Resene Write-on Wall Paint, which acts as a whiteboard. Their son just loves writing up Word of the Week' on this.

With the leftover Resene Write-on Wall Paint, they also painted the inside of their kitchen pantry doors, which is great for writing up grocery lists and the dreaded to do list .
