Lucky last

This project is the last room in a villa renovation. As it is a child's bedroom, they wanted something fun and colourful. The room has a really high stud and they wanted to utilise the space above a wardrobe and linen cupboard for a fort/play area, which they built themselves using clear finished plywood, which slots into grooved posts.

They painted the walls Resene Powder Blue, which is a beautiful vintage blue, with trims in Resene Quarter Villa White. The ladder side rails are constructed from recycled native timber that came from an old lean-to roof they demolished.
