Amanda is the type of person who likes bright colours and gets bored quickly with home décor.
So when she mentioned to her husband that she wanted to strip all the wallpaper and paint the interior of their house he immediately suggested that she start with just the bathroom and toilet.

The original colour of the bathroom was Resene Tasman and the toilet was wallpapered with Resene Linen. Luckily Amanda's husband is a little adventurous and it was his choice to do the bathroom in a bright yellow. It was an easy decision to use Resene Fizz. Next to settle on was the toilet and Amanda really liked Resene Smitten, even though she's not a 'pink-kind-of-girl'. But after consultation with her eldest daughter, who was four at the time, they decided to go for Resene Ferris Wheel.
The final outcome is amazing and Amanda has no regrets using such bright and unusual colours. It makes her feel happy and invigorated.
The next project planned is to paint the ensuite in Resene Celery and strip the wallpaper in the children's rooms and paint them Resene Double Alabaster to brighten them up.
Thanks to the Bryne family.
