From 0 to 5

This room’s journey started when Janette was pregnant. She wanted a neutral room with stripes and spots that could be added to for either gender and would also last over the years. With that in mind she painted the walls with Resene Half Thorndon Cream. The ceiling and trim were completed in Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream.

Over time as her daughter has grown up the room has been able to make this journey with her. As more storage was required Janette upcycled her childhood furniture set by using Resene Waterborne Smooth Surface Sealer and then topcoats in Resene Silver Chalice. It is great to see a simple theme of spots and stripes become classic and timeless.
