Striped to love

Kimberly and her husband used Resene paint when they redecorated a room in their 1930s bungalow for their 3 year old daughter. It started with her husband stripping the window and removing all the wall linings and finally finished some months later by having the new carpet laid.

The room was really lightened by painting the walls and ceiling in Resene Black White then as a cool feature wall they painted stripes on one wall in Resene Pink Lace, Resene Shocking and Resene Riptide. Kimberly chose all the colours herself after buying and trying many testpots. Her husband was a little sceptical of her idea and how well they would execute it, but Kimberly is so glad they took the plunge and gave it a go as it looks amazing!

Kimberly wanted the stripes to have a 'random' look so they are all different widths and there is no pattern to the colours.
