You will need: Cardboard ringbinder , Paintbrush, Pencil, Resene Art Action Metallics, Resene Time Warp, Resene Multishield+ gloss (now Resene Concrete Clear), Resene Quick Dry Acrylic Primer Undercoat, Silver glitter, Testpot Resene Black, Testpot Resene Pearl Shimmer

Top tip: Draw around a Resene 500ml paint pot to get the right sized circle.

Here's another idea: Add a bit of sparkle to your other folders – here we used silver glitter in Resene Multishield+ gloss (now Resene Concrete Clear) over two coats of Resene Red Berry.

Step one
Paint the ringbinder with one coat of Resene Quick Dry Acrylic Primer Undercoat and leave to dry.

Step two
Paint the ringbinder with one coat of Resene Black. Let this dry, and then paint it with a second coat. Leave the ringbinder to dry.

Step three
Paint a round planet on the front cover of the ringbinder using Resene Art Action Time Warp. Leave to dry.

Step four
Paint a series of loose rings around the planet using Resene Pearl Shimmer – be sure to let some of the black background show through. Apply a thin layer of Resene Pearl Shimmer to the circle. Leave to dry.

Step five
Mix a small pot of silver glitter with some Resene Multishield+ gloss (now Resene Concrete Clear) and use this to paint more starry rings around the circle. Leave to dry.
