You will need: Artists’ primed canvas board, Blu-tack, Comb, Mini craft pegs Paint brushes, PVA glue, Resene Art Action Metallic in Resene Time Warp, Resene Art Action Student Acrylic in Resene Cool Blue

Top tip: Make sure the PVA glue has dried before using your memo board – if necessary, leave it overnight.

Here's another idea: Try a different colour combo such as a base coat of Resene Art Action Cool Red with a topcoat of Resene Art Action Copper Fire.

Step one
Paint the canvas board with one coat of Resene Cool Blue and allow to dry.

Step two
Paint the canvas board with one coat of Resene Time Warp.

Step three
Before the paint has dried, drag the comb across the surface of the board to create a wavy pattern in the paint. Allow to dry.

Step four
Glue some craft pegs onto the board using PVA glue, as shown – make sure the pegs are all pointing down. Once dry, fix to your wall with a few blobs of blu-tack and start pegging your memos!
